USCIS Interview Interpreter Services

CNIS Immigration Services offers Spanish–English interpretation services for USCIS immigration interviews.

Many USCIS interviews require the applicant to bring their own interpreter if they are not fluent in English. The interpreter must be able to accurately translate all questions and answers between the USCIS officer and the applicant.

Our interpreter services are designed to help ensure clear communication during your interview.

This service currently only applies to USCIS interviews located in Alabama.

Our standard rate starts at $160 per hour per interpreter.

This service includes completion of Form G-1256 (Declaration for Interpreted USCIS Interview), which USCIS requires for applicants using an interpreter.

Emergency Interpreter Requests

If you require an interpreter on short notice, emergency interpretation services may be available depending on availability.

Emergency interpreter services start at $200 per hour, provided that a member of our team is available to attend the interview.

How to Request a Quote

Provide the details of your USCIS interview, including:

• USCIS office location
• Interview date and time
• Type of interview (for example: adjustment of status, naturalization, etc.)

3. Choose Your Preferred Contact Method

You may indicate your preferred method of communication (phone call, text message, or email).

4. Receive Your Quote

A member of our office will review your request and contact you within 24 hours with the quote for the interpretation service.
