What Is Form I-360 for SIJS?
Form I-360 may be used by certain minors in the United States to request classification as a Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ).
SIJS is available to certain children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by one or both parents, and who have obtained the necessary findings from a state court.
Who May Qualify?
Common situations include:
• Minors who have obtained a qualifying state court order
• Children who cannot reunify with one or both parents due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment
• Individuals under 21 years of age who meet SIJS requirements
Eligibility depends on immigration history and the specific findings of the state court.
